Located in Millville, California, Antler Hollow is the Redding area's best-kept secret. Antler Hollow is a peaceful corner of the North State dedicated to specialized, unique education. It is only a short drive from Redding, but it is far away from town life.

Fresh Air, Fresh Ideas, Hands-On Learning

Antler Hollow provides simple, basic escapes from the ordinary. Western Mountain views, plus a "peek" at Mount Shasta to the north add to its charm. Deer, jackrabbits, and turkeys are regular visitors. Spectacular sunsets plus (on clear nights) unfiltered starry nights carry the beauty into the 24-hour realm.

This peaceful, uncluttered setting is ideal for learning. Tutorships combine hands-on experience with graphics program creative suite learning on the student's choice of horse or dog husbandry and care. Activities and work with the animals carries into the classroom in the form of copy and artwork that finishes in a final portfolio for the student to retain. Production Graphics-Only programs are also available on the subject of the student's choice. Each 2-hour session is split in half: Hands-on, then Classroom. Tutorships run for six-week periods, with two class days per week.

Tutorship-Scholarship Essay Tutorship awards are available bi-annually for essay competition winners. Contest entrants can submit a one-page essay for judging. See Products for entry information. Essays will be evaluated on presentation, correctness, and style. Deadlines are firm; no late submissions are accepted.	The Grammarcop's Typo-Find Competition Typos are everywhere! Like a virus, they are here to stay -- we can only strive to keep the spread at bay. The Typo-Find Competition is open to current and previous students. Typos found in any publication, online or not, must be printed hard copy and submitted with the student's mark-up correction. See Products for details. Submission deadlines are firm.
"Mom, Dad, I REALLY want a pony/puppy!" The American Dream may take many forms, from business to home ownership -- or a classic muscle car -- for all of us. Youngsters, regardless of nationality, share their own common dream: a pony, a puppy, or, in some cases, both! Our tutorships cover a variety of issues on these topics. See Products for tutorship syllabus information. Custom cost analyses for puppy/horse ownership are discussed in classes. Each is specific to the student's situation.	Tutorship Wish Lists Our six-week tutorships allow for 2-3 students at a time, depending on student preference (one-on-one or two-student sessions). If a six-week session is full, students can request to be put on a Wish List for future openings. See Products for Wish List sign-up.
Agility Play/Practice Our canine agility course is available for use by appointment. You can introduce your dog to the activity, or practice in a new setting if you already work agility. Our course consists of a tunnel/sleeve, weave poles, pallet peak, jumps, ladder walk-through, bridge, teeter-totter, and jump-hoop. See Products for more information and rates. Current vaccinations required.	2010 Puppy List Our female Doberman, Tango, is CGC-certified and wonderfully mannered. We would like to breed her in the future (our attempt at a litter this summer was unsuccessful, but we are hoping for another try). The puppy list, however, is still open.
